Lunar eclipse of 10th Dec 2011 was indeed a treat to watch. Usually, it is the moon, the earth and the sun that come in a straight line to cause the celestial spectacle of Lunar eclipse. But this time, a fourth thing, the clouds also threatened to come in the same line and potentially eclipsed the eclipse! It helped that this was one of the longest lunar eclipses and so the blushing red face of the moon as it got completely drowned in the shadow of earth could be captured (middle picture). Enjoy the frame with collection of pictures taken at various time points during the eclipse.
